Sarah Weiss is a Saint Paul based photographer and educator. Sarah earned her MFA at Rochester Institute of Technology in NY. Sarah has many years of experience working in alternative photographic processes. Sarah has shown her artwork locally within the twin cities and regionally for the past 9 years.

Create Unique Fabric Prints
This one-day alternative substrate printing workshop introduces the wonders and possibilities of printing your digital images with non-traditional papers and fabric. InkAid can be painted onto any 2D surface and printed like a traditional photographic print using an inkjet printer. Opening a world of creative possibilities using non-traditional printing surfaces: it allows you to print photographs onto anything and everything using standard inkjet printing procedures. You can print on watercolor paper, fabric, even other photographs.

Location: My Home Studio, 26 Douglas St. Saint Paul, MN
Class Size: Min 3 People Max 6 People.
Cost: Early Bird Prices $125 Available Until Oct 1st.
Regular Price: $145 After Oct 1st 2025.
All supplied materials costs are included in the prices above.
What To Bring: Bring your favorite images. We will provide a variety of materials for students to choose from for their project including paper, and fabric. We will also provide Ink Aid, freezer paper and brushes. We encourage students to bring materials they would like to work with in this process. For this workshop we recommend porous surfaces such as paper, and fabric that do not need special pre-treatment.
Class Requirements: A digital file for printing.
Students are encouraged but not required to have previous knowledge using photo printers and Adobe Photoshop.
Food: Snacks and water will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
Terms & Conditions: Notice of withdrawal must be made two weeks in advance.There are no refunds for no shows.
